Acne & Your Diet

The link between acne & diet has been considered a myth for long. It has been believed that junk food does not cause acne. Oh common, we dont it junk for nothing!

Maybe they just want to sell a few more burgers.

It is in fact, one of the major causes of acne. Your diet is the sole cause of everything going on in your body, or outside it.

However, it may not be a direct cause of acne &amp again…it depends on the person, it may affect some to a great extend, and others may only experience minor effects.

But, that is still not a good enough reason to keep feeding in junk to your body. After all, it has to come out in some form or the other, if not acne.

By nature, your body tends to balance itself. Dont let it do so at the cost of your looks!

1. A person who has constipation and indigestion regularly has more chances of acne. Similarly people who like spicy food, sugary or oily food can have acne.

2. Consuming food at short intervals can cause acne, due to which new food enters the body when the previous food is not digested.

3. Consuming incompatible foods together such as fish and milk, curds and milk, etc can cause acne. The fish dont like milk.

4. Consuming food with disregard to the bodily cravings, such as eating when not hungry or fasting when hungry. Again, causes imbalance.

5. Deficiency of vitamin A (retinol) can cause acne.

Hence, try & avoid junk food for a happy acne-free life! Also increase your Vitamin A intake.
